The hot new language for the net. This was my way of getting my feet wet. Picked by Sun as their "Featured Java-Powered Page" during Thanksgiving 1995 and by the Java-SIG as their "Cool Applet of the Week" for March 10-17, 1996, Solitaire has been included in several Java books in 1996. It's been called one of the greatest time wasters on the net. If your browser is java-enabled, give it a shot. If you don't mind advertisements, try an improved, nicer looking version I did for Riddler called Klondike
Try my telnet applet with VT100 and ANSI emulation. It's great for modifying home pages. Use Sun's Appletviewer to get around the socket security restriction.
**NEW** For those who are ready for card games in more than two dimensions, try Crazy Eights 3D, a card game written in VRML 2.0 and Java. Must use a VRML browser with EAI functionality. Currently that is Netscape Navigator 3.0 with SGI's or InterVista's VRML plugin, or the latest version of Netscape Communicator 4.0 which already includes Cosmoplayer 1.0. Check it out.
my
resume

An earlier work from the director of Kolya. My
favorite film of 1995, Accumulator 1, made in the Czech Republic
in 1994 and toured the U.S. festival circuit last year. Sci-fi comedy,
Jan Sverak called it his answer to Swarzenegger films. Obviously much smarter
than that. If you know of a distributer in America let me know. I would
love a laserdisc or at least a stereo VHS copy of this film. Only a few
people in the US have seen it and it's a shame. If you have an art house
in your area which plays films without distributors keep an eye out.

Guitars. I own a 1994 Custom 15.
